LG Escape P870 LTE smartphone made officially by AT&T

AT&T has officially announced the launch date of a new Android ICS smartphone, the LG Escape (model number LG P870). This LG smartphone will be available starting September 16th in company-owned stores and online. Customers can get the Escape for $49.99 on a two-year contract. The smartphone is suitable for consumers on a budget looking to transition into a powerful smartphone, according to press release.

Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the LG Escape is sports a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and a 4.3-inch touchscreen IPS with qHD 540 x 960 resolution, Gorilla Glass covered as well. The AT&T Escape smartphone brings 4GB of internal memory expandable through MicroSD card (up to 32GB), a 2150 mAh battery, and a standard set of sensors.

In term of connectivity, the LG P870 delivers GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and 4G LTE connectivity. There is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5MP main camera with Full HD video recording.
