Huawei has introduced its new Android smartphone in Brazil (at a tech fair in Rio de Janeiro), the Huawei Y300 (U8833). This handset is becoming its first smartphone to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Reportedly, Huawei Y300 smartphone will be launched on the market in December. The Y300 should be listed for price tag 449 Brazilian reals (about $220).

Based on specs-wise, the Huawei Y300 is a mid-range smartphone. It boasts a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of onboard storage. Weighing only 120 grams, new Huawei Y300 U8833 phone packs a 4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of WVGA 800 x 480 pixels and a 1,730 mAh battery.
